Vukelich, Dan

Dan Vukelich is an Albuquerque, N.M.-based journalist who has written for the Golf Travel Wire, Morning Read, The First Call, the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and a host of regional golf publications, including Golf Chicago, the Met (N.Y.C.) Golfer, and the Chicago District Golf Association's magazine. He previously edited Sun Country Golf, a magazine for golfers in New Mexico and West Texas, and he produced "New Mexico Golf Tour," an 18-episode golf-travelogue series that ran in 20 PBS TV markets. Earlier in his journalism career, he worked as a news reporter or editor at The Albuquerque Tribune, Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper, KOB-TV Channel 4 Albuquerque, The Washington Times, and the City News Bureau of Chicago. He is a winner of an award from the Investigative Reporters and Editors Inc. and shared in a national gold medal for public service journalism from the Society of Professional Journalists. He has previously written for The Met (NYC) Golfer, the Chicago Tribune Sunday Travel Section, the Chicago-Sun-Times Sunday Travel Section, Sun Country Golf (N.M.) magazine, AZ Golf Insider, Southern New England Golfer, the Ventura County (Los Angeles) Star, Golf Getaways Magazine (formerly Fairways + Greens), New England Golf Monthly, and Hawaii Golf and Travel News.
