Greg Dewalt

Gregg Dewalt is the editor of Alabama Golf News, a statewide publication dedicated to covering golf across Alabama, including the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and the state’s many public and private courses. He also serves as editor of Tee Times in Nashville, a regional golf publication circulating throughout Tennessee and into Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Dewalt recently retired as senior sports editor of the TimesDaily and Decatur Daily, two prominent newspapers serving northwest Alabama. A veteran journalist and respected voice in golf media, Dewalt is a longtime member of both the Golf Writers Association of America and the Associated Press Sports Editors. Over the course of his career, he has earned numerous awards for excellence in sports writing, recognized for his coverage of golf as well as a wide range of athletic events. His work reflects a deep commitment to storytelling, regional sports coverage, and elevating the profile of golf throughout the Southeast.
