Bruno, Jason

Jason Bruno began in the golf industry from the Agronomy side of things back in 1987, and later founded the website LinksNation in 2009. LinksNation is a collection of all things golf, featuring course design, travel destinations, equipment reviews, and Q&A conversations with the most influential people in the game. Having begun the golf journey from the turf side has allowed for a unique perspective in the transition to journalism. Bruno has taken on the task from both sides of several major championships, with dual roles (of Agronomy Team to Media Center) at three U.S. Opens. Bruno's greatest passion is traveling to experience and feature the world’s finest courses and destinations. As a player with a 1.5 hcp index, the inspiration to remain a semi-competitive amateur still exists. Besides LinksNation, his work can be found in freelance form covering TGL, Travel Caddie, Golf Club Atlas Gazetteer (Print), Florida Green, and Golf Destinations Magazine.
