Len Ziehm

Len Ziehm is a veteran golf journalist whose career spans more than five decades. After retiring from the Chicago Sun‑Times following 41 years as its golf columnist, he entered his 16th year writing for the Daily Herald in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In addition to his long‑running newspaper work, Ziehm has built a substantial presence in golf travel media, contributing regularly to the Ohio Golf Journal, Michigan Golf Journal, and eSouthernGolf, while also publishing content on his own website. His recent assignments include features for the PGA Championship program, Chicago District Golf Association Magazine, and New York Golf Magazine. Ziehm’s contributions to the game have earned significant recognition. He was inducted into the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame in 2019 and now serves as executive editor of the Golf Travel Writers of America. A lifetime member of the Golf Writers Association of America, he also sits on the advisory board of the International Network of Golf. His work reflects a deep commitment to chronicling the sport, its destinations, and its evolving culture.
